ON Semiconductor NCP5974x Ultra-Low Dropout Voltage Regulators are dual-rail, low dropout linear regulators capable of providing an output current in excess of 1.5/3.0A with a dropout voltage of 60/115/120mV typ. at full load current. The devices are stable with ceramic and other types of output capacitors. Internal protection features include builtin thermal shutdown and output current limiting protection. QFN and DFN versions include user programmable softstart and power good pins. The NCP5974x Ultra-Low Dropout Voltage Regulators are well-suited for computing & peripherals, medical, telecom & industrial, equipment point of load regulation, FPGA, DSP & logic power supplies, switching power supply post regulation, and applications with specific startup time or sequencing requirements.
