Altech's CBI series UPS combine the requirements of several applications into one device that can be used as a power supply unit, a battery charger, a battery care module, or a backup module. These units split power between the load and battery, however supplying power to the load is always the priority. CBI devices use an onboard microprocessor to determine charging mode and provide real-time diagnostics. The diagnostic system monitors the charging process and protects against short circuits, reverse polarity connections, and battery disconnections.
